Developed as Mark Bujold’s second sauce recipe — and first commercial launch — Sweet Heat Maple

Chipotle was created specifically for the 2024 Crosby’s Molasses Secret Sauce Competition. It defeated multiple regional chef entries.

before capturing the overall provincial Grand Prize title.

NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT

The award-winning recipe was later showcased at the 2024 Calgary Stampede Kitchen Theatre Showdown,

where it was used again as the winning sauce recipe, reinforcing its reputation as a Canadian BBQ standout.
